Wireless Symposium/Portable by Design 2001 held in San Jose, CA (February 12-16) will mark the introduction of several new products, including the HBT Amplifier product line, from Hittite Microwave Corporation, as well as the new February 2001 Designer's Guide standard products catalog.

Ideal for HomeRF and Bluetooth applications, the HMC310MS8G, a compact 2.4 GHz transceiver, integrates a receiver LNA, a transmitter amplifier, Rx/Tx switch and control onto a single chip assembled into a low cost industry standard plastic package.

The industry's first low cost C-band variable-gain Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), HMC318MS8G and C-band fixed-gain LNA, HMC320MS8G, serve the full UNII and HiperLAN bands. Both operate at 5.0 - 6.0 GHz using a single positive supply that can be set between +3v to +5v.

Hittite's new InGaP HBT Amplifier line now supplies the Wireless Market from DC to 7 GHz! These new amplifiers come in small low cost surface mount SOT26 packages, and operate from a single positive supply. The HMC313 and HMC323 are ideal for 2.2 - 2.7 GHz MMDS, 3.5 GHz WLL, and 5.0 - 6.0 GHz UNII and HiperLAN applications. At a height of 1.45mm, the HMC314 is designed for low profile portable wireless devices and WLAN, while HMC315 is ideal for fiber optic OC-48 systems, microwave test instrumentation, or broadband mobile radio platforms.

A preview of each new product appears in the Winter 2000 issue of the MMIC Product Selection Guide. Full data sheets with Hittite Microwave's Guarantee of Electrical Performance Over Temperature are available in the new FEBRUARY 2001 catalog, as well as the website, . These products are available immediately from stock!
