Hittite Microwave Corporation, the world class supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication & military markets, has introduced the first wideband GaAs MMIC switch within the company's Connectorized Module Product Line. The HMC-C011 Non-Reflective SPDT Switch Module is ideal for military EW/ECM, space, wideband telecom, industrial, microwave radio and test equipment applications from DC to 20 GHz.

The HMC-C011 is a rugged DC to 20 GHz, non-reflective SPDT switch in a connectorized hermetic housing with field replaceable SMA connectors. This high performance switch offers 2 dB insertion loss, 35 to 65 dB isolation and +23 dBm input P1dB. An integrated high speed CMOS driver enables extremely fast 1.3 nanosecond rise and fall times with low video transients of 10mV. The HMC-C011 operates from a single +5V supply and consumes only 1.4 mA of bias current.
