New Low Noise Amplifier Family Covers 7 - 32 GHz

Versatile as LNAs or Drivers

Chelmsford, MA 11/15/2004 -

Hittite Microwave Corporation, the world class supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication & military markets, announces the introduction of a new family of Low Noise Amplifiers for microwave radio, test and sensor applications from 7 - 32 GHz.

The HMC516, HMC517, HMC518, & HMC519 family of GaAs PHEMT MMIC Low Noise Amplifier Die was designed to meet the needs of microwave radio designers who want a low noise front end device that can also provide enough output power to drive a mixer LO or function as a general purpose buffer amp. These LNAs achieve noise figures as low as 1.8 dB while providing up to 21 dB gain and +17 dBm Psat. The chips can easily be integrated into hybrid or MCM assemblies due to their small size and standard I/O pinout.

Samples are available from stock and can be ordered on line. Released data sheets are available on-line at www.hittite.com.
