Operations/Manufacturing

1. Production Test Engineer

Production Test Engineer

Overview:
Responsible for establishing and driving yield enhancement and quality improvement programs for RF semiconductor components in a high volume semiconductor manufacturing environment, collaborating with engineers to identify and diagnose defect-induced yield and manufacturability problems and implement solutions; developing models for key defect and yield-loss mechanisms, correlating RF test yields to foundry PCM data, and supporting new product transfer into manufacturing. Position requires a B.S.E.E. with a focus in RF/Microwaves. Knowledge of wafer probe and automatic handlers and experience with offshore assembly and RF electrical test methods is preferred.

2. Hybrid Assembly Inspector

Hybrid Assembly Inspector

Overview:
Responsible for inspecting and managing quality control functions for process assembly of hybrid microcircuits. This position requires experience in MMIC visual inspection of MIL-STD-883, Method 2010, pre-cap inspection, high power visual inspection of MIL-STD-883, Method 2017, low power visual inspection of MIL-STD-883, Method 2009, solder inspection of J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 to final inspection. Position also requires use of high power microscopes, bond pull gage, die shear gage, data entry, ability to read and comprehend process cards as well as assembly drawings. Strong communication skills and high school diploma or GED and 3 years of semiconductor assembly/inspection experience required. IPC-A-610 certification is preferred. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required.

3. Hybrid Assemblers

Hybrid Assemblers

Overview:
First and second shift positions. Responsible for manual and automated chip & wire assembly of hybrid microcircuits. Position requires experience in epoxy attach, wire bonding & circuit assembly, die level micro circuit and soldering skills, ability to read and comprehend process cards and assembly drawings, able to take written and verbal directions and be comfortable working under a microscope. Minimum requirements include high school diploma or GED. Experience with automated assembly equipment preferred. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required.

4. Program Manager

Program Manager

Overview:
Manage Millimeter and Microwave development and production programs for military or commercial applications (hybrid to subsystem levels). Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, quality assurance, operations & finance) to maintain technical, quality, cost and delivery schedules. This position requires experience at proposal development and direct contract negotiations, a B.S.E.E./M.S.E.E. technical degree or equivalent experience, and5 years of DoD program management experience. U. S. Citizenship or permanent residency required. Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, ITAR and EAR and active security clearance preferred.

5. Production Planner

Production Planner

Overview:
Responsible for daily organizing and tracking of engineering jobs, working with manufacturing reporting systems, planning, scheduling and preparation of work order details related to the procurement of various materials, subcontract assembly, piece part assemblies used in the manufacture of electronic modules, packages for both military and commercial applications, and metrics such as inventory turns and on time delivery. Requirements include knowledge of MRP and ERP applications, Email, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Microsoft Excel, knowledge of working in ESD controlled environment, ability to multi-task, and willingness to cross train in other areas. Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred, High School Diploma required with 5 years experience in Production Planning role preferably in Integrated Circuit or RF Components industry.

6. Manufacturing Process Engineer

Manufacturing Process Engineer

Overview:
First and second shift positions. Responsible for supporting equipment set-up and process validation for automatic semiconductor manufacturing including die attach and wire bonding of microelectronic components and modules, working with designers to determine manufacturability of products, diagnose and resolve issues which effect yield of products. Requires experience in all aspects of MIL-STD-883 including wafer inspection, hermetic sealing, PIND, SMT solder systems, programming of computer controlled equipment, vision recognition systems, equipment debugging and problem solving skills. A BS degree with a technical discipline or equivalent work experience and U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required.

7. Process Technician

Process Technician

Overview:
Position is 2nd Shift. Responsible for performing equipment set-up and process validation for automatic semiconductor manufacturing including die attach and wire bonding of microelectronic components and modules. Requires experience in all aspects of MIL-883 including wafer inspection, hermetic sealing, PIND, SMT solder systems and minimum 5 years related experience. Documentation of skills is required.

8. Microwave Test Engineering Specialist

Microwave Test Engineering Specialist

Overview:
Responsible for supporting production test and troubleshooting of RF/microwave subassemblies. Requirements include general knowledge of microwave measurements and familiarity with the following equipment: network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, RF power meters and RF signal sources. Requires 3-5 years related experience required.

9. Supply Chain Production Planner

Supply Chain Production Planner

Overview:
Responsible for the planning, scheduling, execution and communication of product line consisting of low volume, high mix and multi-level bills of material. Establish Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the product line, monitoring of progress to the MPS and work closely with Operations to ensure capacity allocations to support MPS. Maintain backlog and commitments to inside sales ensuring customers receive timely commitments and pre-warning of delivery delays. Maintain all MRP planning parameters in ERP system. Manage new product development efforts for product line to ensure Time to Market objectives. Establish capacity modeling and strategic build plans to ensure product line supports business objectives. Work closely with purchasing and establish inventory projection plan based on MPS, sales forecast and report results and recommendations to management. Requirements include strong written and verbal communication skills and a B.S. (MBA preferred). APICS certification is a plus. 5-10 years progressive experience in Manufacturing Planning and Semiconductor industry experience preferred.

10. Supply Chain Demand Manager

Supply Chain Demand Manager

Overview:
Responsible for Developing, organizing and leading a Demand Management (DM) team in support of Hittite business objectives. The DM team collaborates with the sales org to establish a Master Production Schedule (MPS) and manages the full execution of the MPS. Support Hybrid Assembly manufacturing, develop capacity modeling for operation in support of MPS and establish closed loop forecast / MPS confirmation. Manage and mentor Production Planners in support of departmental goals and objectives. Manage new product development efforts ensuring products are validated. Establish and manage product life cycle and provide recommendations to management team for discontinuation of products. Establish inventory projection plan based on MPS, Sales forecast and establish policies and procedures to meet targets. Manage ERP system data integrity as it relates to planning function, MRP, ATP, MPS and customer service communication. Requirements include strong written and verbal communication skills, Bachelors Degree (MBA preferred). APICS certification is a plus. 10+ years experience in Operations / SCM leadership role and Semiconductor industry experience preferred.

11. Foundry Engineering Manager

Foundry Engineering Manager

Overview:
This position will be responsible for providing management with oversight and related control of the outsourced semiconductor wafer foundry operations, developing and leading strategic foundry management activities for organization, and facilitating and managing critical, strategic, top-tier foundry relationships, managing vendor selection and quality control protocols and will execute all related wafer foundry supply activities for HMC business. Responsibilities also include:

• Ensures high quality, low-cost goods & services; develops and approves foundry supplier base; negotiates pricing & quality acceptance terms as part of vendor supply agreements; ensures vendor's delivery, quality, & price performance; develops and maintain appropriate foundry performance measurement systems.

• Position will collaborate with Process, Product, and Design Engineering organizations to identify and diagnose process defect yield and manufacturability issues and to implement effective solutions. Drives continuous improvements in quality assurance initiatives.

• Supports engineering development and qualification of new foundry process and HMC product activities. Drives process change qualification and approval efforts as required. Develops device reliability measurement and monitoring tools.

• Develop and manages models for key yield improvement mechanisms. Correlates test yields to foundry PCM data. Uses statistical process control, and other related monitors for managing quality / acceptance levels.

• Support new product transfer into manufacturing through the use of design for manufacturing, DFM, and design for test, DFT, guidelines.
